Peter Griffiths

Strategic Writer and Researcher | Dip. Adventure Leadership

Boasting a 35-year professional career in the nature-based tourism, outdoor recreation and education sectors, Pete has extensive experience in working closely with Education, Health and Recreation/Tourism government portfolios. He has researched and presented state, national and international reports and always looks to improve broader outcomes for the community via interdisciplinary collaboration.

His thorough approach to capturing project context and intent has led to his book on the history of Tasmania's Franklin River being used as a reference source by Tasmania's Nomenclature Board. The book's research archive now resides in the State Library.

As a former CEO of a NFP national peak body, he is well placed to assist clubs and membership associations to thrive, operate under best-practice governance and deliver the highest quality services to their members and the wider community.

Pete is a firm advocate of access for all, believing that all people have the right to participate in the community to the best of their ability, no matter their background or personal circumstances.
